What Providence Consulting and Design provides:

Community Assessment
The PC&D team is well-versed in all aspects of Senior Living, from Independent Living to Skilled Nursing. We thoroughly assess community safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and overall physical health. Maintenance programs and results are evaluated during our visits, and we offer a partnership with TELS. PC&D considers both AHJ requirements and national safety standards for the community’s care level during their tours. A comprehensive report is provided to clients and stored in their database. Additionally, our C.A.P. Plan includes TELS monitoring and alert system to track tasks and work orders, with monthly alerts for overdue items to the management group.

Capital Expenditure
Our CAP EX visits provide a comprehensive review of projected capital expenditures for communities over the next 36 months. Using our proprietary database, we determine the replacement costs and estimate the year for replacements. After your visit, you’ll receive a capital assessment report summarizing all findings, conveniently stored in our database for your reference.

Pre-Purchase Inspection
We offer comprehensive inspections for those considering purchasing or assuming management of a new community. Our team conducts thorough assessments of the physical plant components and interviews staff members whenever possible. Within two weeks, you will receive a detailed report, which we also store in our databases for your convenience. Our primary aim is to identify any potential capital requirements to prevent unexpected and costly repairs after the purchase. It’s important to note that our report differs from a standard bank-requested Phase 1 Inspection, as it emphasizes the operational aspects of running a senior living facility, drawing on our team’s extensive 100+ years of industry experience.

Project Management
PC&D offers comprehensive support for your project, from budget planning to Grand Opening. With extensive experience in both minor interior renovations and ground-up developments, our team ensures successful outcomes. We collaborate with you to design the optimal environment for your residents and facilitate the bidding process, drawing from local contractors and our trusted national network. Throughout the project, a dedicated PC&D representative serves as your main point of contact, working in your best interest as an extension of your organization.

Why it’s important to you:

At PC&D, we recognize that healthcare companies often cut their budgets in areas like physical plant upkeep and maintenance when facing financial challenges. However, this short-term cost-saving strategy can result in compounded issues and expensive repairs in the future. Neglecting plant-related maintenance towards the end of a lease can lead to significant deferred maintenance costs, potentially costing you millions of dollars in expenses. It’s crucial to prioritize ongoing maintenance to avoid these costly repercussions. We can help prioritize what is important.
